Volunteer

The Mercy Health Clinic was founded in 2000 by a small group of concerned citizens and physicians who wanted to provide medical care to our neighbors in Montgomery who lacked health insurance. Each year, the number of patients increased as more resources, specialty clinics and educational programs were added. The additional health services were made possible by more and more concerned citizens volunteering and pitching in to help their less fortunate neighbors. Today, the volunteer staff has grown to over 50 physicians who, with the help of over 100 other volunteers, make the vital work of Mercy Health Clinic possible.

This dedicated group of volunteers has enabled Mercy Clinic to provide the life enhancing health services to our neighbors that they may have otherwise gone without. However, for us to continue to provide the indispensable health services that Mercy provides to our neighbors, we need your help. We have opportunities to volunteer for both medical professionals and those with administrative skills (we especially need those with translating skills).

Medical professionals (Physicians, PAs, Nurse Practitioners) can learn more about volunteering opportunities here.

Non-PROVIDER volunteers (Scribes, RNs, Pharmacists Administrative Aides, MAs) can learn more about volunteering opportunities here.
