Mercy Health Clinic provides high-quality medical care, health education support and prescription medications to more than 2,200 low-income uninsured patients each year, through nearly 7,000 visits – free of charge. The Clinic is committed to improving access to healthcare for those who otherwise would not be able to afford such care.
Mercy Health Clinic relies on support from individuals, corporations, foundations, our many community partners who generously donate their time, talent and resources to the Clinic and the patients we serve. We are a non-sectarian nonprofit patient-centered medical home.
Our primary goals are to:
- expand access to healthcare by increasing the number of patients served by Mercy, including adolescents (ages 13-17)
- decrease health disparities for uninsured individuals, including providing access to essential recommended cancer screenings, and
- improve health outcomes for patients, including those managing chronic conditions such as hypertension and/or diabetes
