2024 Gala Honoree Dr. Nancy Ripp Clark
Recipient of The Dr. James A. Ronan Excellence in Medical Care Award
Dr. Nancy Ripp Clark, M.D., a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, was in private practice before joining Mercy Health Clinic as a volunteer physician in 2000 when the clinic opened. In addition to providing direct care for patients, Dr. Ripp Clark served as Mercy’s volunteer Medical Director from 2010 to 2015, where she was responsible for overseeing medical operations and recruitment of volunteer physicians.
Dr. Ripp Clark received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and completed medical school at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Washington Hospital Center, and became an attending physician at the Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ripp Clark has been an active parishioner at Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Potomac, Maryland, and is a Dame of the Order of Malta.
